Beetlejuice 2 - September 6, 2024
There are virtually no details as to the plot in Beetlejuice 2 since the project wrapped in late November 2023. However, the sequel to the classic '80s Halloween flick will have some stars reprising their roles and will add rising Hollywood stars as well.

Transformers One - September 13, 2024
Not a lot has been revealed about Transformers One, but the animated prequel movie will be set on Cybertron. It will revolve around the relationship between Optimus Prime and Megatron and will feature a Hollywood A-list cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Jon Hamm, and Laurence Fishburne.

Joker: Folie à Deux - October 4, 2024
After Joaquin Phoenix won the Best Actor Academy Award for his portrayal of Joker in the movie of the same name, a sequel was inevitable. The sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux, will have Phoenix return alongside new castmates Lady Gaga (Harley Quinn) and Zazie Beetz (Sophie Dumond).

Alto Knights - November 15, 2024
Robert De Niro is known for his involvement in many gangster and crime dramas, and Alto Knights will be his newest for 2024. The gangster film will star De Niro in a dual role as 1950s mob bosses Vito Genovese and Frank Costello.
These two Italian-American mob bosses are constantly competing until Genovese orders a hit on Costello. He ultimately survives but is wounded and decides to retire from the Mafia. Other cast members include Debra Messing, Kathrine Narducci, and Cosmo Jarvis.
Wicked: Part One - November 27, 2024
Wicked: Part One is one of the most highly-anticipated movies that will be available worldwide in 2024. Although there have been multiple delays in filming, the first part will be released towards the end of the year. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande star opposite each other in the charming musical about the origins of The Wizard of Oz.
Other stars in the cast include Jonathan Bailey, Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater, and Michelle Yeoh. Wicked: Part 2 is expected to be released on November 26, 2025.

Mufasa: The Lion King - December 20, 2024
Mufasa: The Lion King will be a sequel to the 2019 adaptation of The Lion King with Barry Jenkins attached to direct. The film has a cast lineup including Aaron Pierre as Mufasa, Kelvin Harrison Jr. as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, Billy Eichner as Timon, and John Kani as Rafiki.
During a D23 preview of the film, it was revealed that it will center around Mufasa being an orphaned cub. Rafiki and Timon will tell stories about Mufasa's past and how he became king.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - December 20, 2024
Another sequel is coming to the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will also be an action-adventure comedy based around the famed video game character. A new character named Shadow the Hedgehog is set to appear in the third film as well.
